Budget Template

Use our online budget tool to create a simple, personalised plan for where your money goes each month.

  • Start by entering your monthly income after tax — if you’re not sure what that is, try our income calculator first!

  • Then add your essential bills like rent, electricity, and groceries.

  • Next, create spending pots. These can be as broad or detailed as you like — maybe one big “Personal” pot, or smaller ones like Eating Out, Clothes, and Entertainment.

  • Finally, add any financial goals you’re working towards — like saving £100 a month for a house deposit, retirement, a holiday, a wedding, or your child’s education.

  • Make sure your budget balances to £0. If you’re over budget, you’ll need to adjust by reducing one of your spending pots or financial goals — until everything fits within your income.

It’s quick, customisable, and gives you a clear picture of how to make your money work for you. You can even download it as a PDF if you want to save it for future reference.
